We have so much going on in The Bear Class!

Our Cupid for the Day starts on Tuesday, Feb. 3rd. Check out the cupid schedule on the Blog on the right hand side to be sure of your child’s day. We decorated bags today and they look so festive!  It was a great rainy morning to get that done.

Please turn in your child’s permission slip and $5.50 for the CHOM fieldtrip if you have not already done so. We will go from 8:30-10:30 on Wed. Feb. 18. You are welcomed to meet us there. Our Intern, Ms. Gilham, will be with us that day. Parent chaperones may be asked to pay to enter the museum….. I am not sure about that, but you might want to bring a few dollars just in case.

Last week was our first Bear of the Week!  Sam Akins brought his guitar and played a few cords for us. This week’s Bear is Jennifer Stroud.

Our Valentine’s Party will be at 1:00 on Friday, Feb. 13th. I am not sure of the plans yet….but I know it will be super fun!

If we do not have bad weather before then, Monday, Feb. 16th will be a holiday (weather make up day) for President’s day. The children are wishing for snow, but I am not too sure it’s going to happen! So remember, if we do not have bad weather and need to make up a day, we will have a nice long weekend after Valentine’s Day!

January’s book orders should be here quickly. I will send the new packet out soon.
